The Farmington Post Office was selected for an Honorable Mention in the Postmaster General Sustainability Excellence Award completion in Waste Reduction, Recycling, and Pollution Prevention.

At the Postal Service, sustainability means maintaining the welfare of our people, and providing wise stewardship of our planet while delivering on the promise of universal service at an affordable price.

Making the world a greener place is not easy. The Farmington Employees have demonstrated that getting people to re-think how they behave, and to see the impact their actions have on the environment is an important first step. That is why I am especially pleased to recognize the efforts that this team provided to put your stamp on a greener tomorrow!
